- Heirloom is an opaque, smokey, mid-gray painted finish, with a warm brown undercoat and a low sheen on birch veneer. Paint crackle, light random spatter, and a dry-brushed dark glaze complete the time worn effect. The physical distressing includes highly worn edges and corners, light random peck marks, and light rasping. It also has heavy rub-through on the corners, edges, and raised areas, allowing the brown undercoat to show through giving it a highly worn appearance.
