- Baguette is a semi-transparent, warm, light brown stain with a low sheen on oak veneer. A light-colored glaze is hand wiped across the surface and hangs up in the marquetry pattern and open grain. The finish distressing has moderate hand padding and dry brushing with heavy spatter, giving the finish a time worn feel. The finish has heavy physical distressing, which includes highly worn edges and corners, with heavy wire brushing.
