Our pure Indian marble coral bowl shares part of its story with perhaps the most breathtaking memorial ever created. The exquisite white marble used to build the Taj Mahal was mined in Rajasthan, just as the marble for this bowl is. The artisans who came to the region during its construction in the 1600s settled there, and their descendents carry on their work today. The bowl’s deep scallops are carved, shaped and polished entirely by hand. The rendering of each bowl is a masterpiece in and of itself, and every one is unique.
